Website Privacy Policy

Aday at a Time Therapy Services

Aday at a Time Therapy Services, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy describes how we handle information connected with website inquiries and communications with our office, including telephone calls, email, and text messages.

Information about your care may also be protected by HIPAA and other confidentiality laws. Our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices explains the rights and protections that apply to protected health information. This website policy does not replace that notice or authorize disclosures otherwise restricted by law.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you contact us, we may collect:

  • Your name, telephone number, and email address.
  • Information you choose to provide in an inquiry or communication.
  • Appointment-related information needed for scheduling and reminders.
  • Communication history and your contact preferences.
  • Records of text-message permission, opt-out requests, and message delivery.

Please provide only the information needed for your inquiry. Contact our office or use the client portal for guidance on sharing sensitive clinical information.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to respond to inquiries, schedule or confirm appointments, send reminders, communicate about scheduling changes, and follow up on questions or administrative matters. We also use information to maintain necessary business records, support our communication systems, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Our office text messages are intended for scheduling, reminders, and direct follow-up. Permission for these communications is not permission to receive unrelated promotional messages.

3. Text Messages and Permission

Messages may be sent through our appointment-reminder systems or business phone system. Message frequency varies with your appointments, questions, and interactions with our office. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile carrier plan.

We obtain permission for text messaging as required by applicable law and our messaging providers. You may choose another reasonable communication method by contacting our office. Providing a phone number or reading this policy does not, by itself, authorize promotional text messages.

4. Communication Choices and Opt-Out

You may ask us to change your contact information, preferred communication method, or permission to send texts.

To stop text messages, reply STOP to the sending number or contact our office at 907-318-5686 or info@adayatatimetherapyservices.com. An automated service may send one confirmation of your opt-out.

If you receive messages from more than one practice-related number or system, contact our office so we can update your preferences across the relevant systems. For assistance, contact our office. You may also reply HELP where that option is supported.

An opt-out stops text communications rather than canceling an appointment. Please contact the office for scheduling changes. You may request a reasonable alternative way to receive communications.

5. Sharing Information

We do not sell personal information or provide it to other organizations for their own marketing. Mobile numbers, text-message consent records, and opt-in information are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Providers that support website hosting, appointment reminders, telephone services, or messaging may process information needed to provide those services on our behalf. Access and disclosures remain subject to applicable privacy requirements and required contractual safeguards.

We may also disclose information when permitted or required by applicable law. Disclosures of protected health information remain subject to our HIPAA notice and any additional confidentiality protections.

6. Health Information and Electronic Communications

Ordinary text messages and email can carry privacy risks, including access by others using your device or account. Contact our office if you prefer a different communication method or need to discuss how to transmit sensitive information.

Our client portal provides access to practice-related services. Contact us to determine the appropriate channel for your request. Website forms, email, and texts should not be used for emergencies.

7. Security and Retention

We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. No electronic system or transmission method can guarantee complete security.

Retention depends on the purpose of the information and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Some communications become part of clinical or business records. An opt-out or deletion request does not override legal obligations to retain those records.

Contact our office with questions about information we maintain. Rights concerning clinical records are explained in our HIPAA notice.

8. Website Technologies and External Services

Website hosting and linked services may process technical information, such as browser information, IP addresses, and service logs, to operate their systems. Cookies or similar technologies may also be used, depending on the features enabled.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. External services linked from our website, including the client portal, have their own privacy notices. Our obligations concerning health information continue to apply when we use outside providers.

9. Children and Family Communications

This website provides general information about our practice. This policy does not establish age eligibility for treatment. Information about minors and communications with parents or guardians are handled subject to applicable confidentiality and consent requirements. Contact our office with questions about services or authorized communications for a child.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements. We will post the revised policy and update the date above. A policy revision does not, by itself, create permission for a new use or disclosure that requires consent or authorization.
